Adventures At Little Five Points "Little Five Points is basically 5th Station and Ponce City Market had a baby." What is Ponce? What is 5th Station." That was my conversation on Bumble BFF.  I went to L5P myself, along with my sister, Heaven.  We picked up candles and oils from the Honey Pot Shop, a metaphysical store.  Little Five Points is an alternative, thrifty, filled with young adult energy.  There are tons of small businesses that sell crystals, gemstones, rocks to vinyl records and athletic clothing.  One vinyl record shop we visited was Criminal Records. It is a definite recommendation for the 70s- 90s music lovers.  We made a stop by at Arden's Garden for a delicious salad with sweet kale and tofu.   Just a nice Saturday night with decent weather, walking is the main liability, cause of outdoor shops. Trying on the Same Size Jeans From 3 Different Stores

Image
This following is from a fashion assignment I've done while enrolled at Parson X Teen Vouge : Fashion Industry Essentials.   Its called Fashion Production. Basically, fashion production is the proccess in which an item is produced in the factory to the sale of it  in the market. Back in November of 2019, I went to three different stores (Aerie, Burlington and Levi's )and tried on the same size jeans.  For instance, certain pair of jeans fit ,  Burglington 4/27 the cons were it being to short or too tight.  Levi's  I tried on size two, it was tight and big in the waist.  Aerie The 4/27 were more of my size, one frequent problem I did run into were the ways each pair shaped on my body. My stature and size and style of jeans did play a role.

I Made A Handbag Using Recycled Material

Image
This recycled handbag is called "The Bucket Purse".  Here is the story behind it, it all started with a sketch. It is inspired by an actual bucket. I cheered at UPWARD ,  a a cheermate happened to make a decorate bucket. I still visually remembered that bucket, we carried our pom poms and megaphones in it.  It looked like the picture above. I did not have a sewing machine or fabric , so I used  construction paper, a reusable grocery bag and glitter glue. Not also I brought I got inspiration,  I turned it into an accessory!!!
