Unpopular Social Media Opinions That You Can Argue Against
According to Nicole Cooper “unpopular opinions are simply defined as ideas and beliefs that go against or completely contradict the conventional status quo. “ One unique attribute that comes to unpopular opinions is that any topic can apply. For this one, I will be sharing my opinions on social media, influencers including Youtubers and social media trends along with apps.

Shrek is Love TikTok trend is outrageous and odd.
TikTok is an actual good and wholesome app with decency. Older generations should let Gen Z experience that classified connection instead of bashing it off of unhealthy challenges. When they were the ones planking on cliffs and grabbing ice cream out of the cones with their bare hands at a McDonalds drive thru. TikTok has its good and bad sides just like any other social media apps.
TikTok is Vine 2.0 , even though TikTokers are cringe, they still are a setting stone for Generation Zoomer and this decade as a whole.
Snapchat was not meant to last long, celebs and problematic makeup gurus ruined it.
Snapchat does deserve more credit for popularizing stories, filters for its game changing affects across all social media platforms.
Twitter is not toxic, there are just toxic users.
Tyler Oakley is the OG King of Youtube and iconic, he deserves honorary contributions at the next Streamy Awards.
I really miss when several YouTube creators came together on one channel with a different creator on a specific day Monday - Sunday. This particular technique should be revived. So many well known YouTubers came from there. Now with how large social media is this technique will get entry creators out there. Examples : Trash, 5AwesomeGays, SevenSuperGirls
Piper Rockelle channel is inappropriate, the adults in charge should do better and be held accountable or YouTube should ban that channel for good. She is being exploited. LtMayhem did an informative video that goes really in depth.
Please keep Twitch for gaming.
KiK is the app that needs to be banned indefinitely . There is more oversexualization and illicit behavior in that app compared to any other.
Nickocado Avocado is a troll and should not be taken seriously as he is. He knows what feeds attention ( no pun intended) . The tactics he currently is using are generous, witty and smart. The only thing he looks wild while doing it. He does have vulnerable sides of him,he needs to overcome whatever is going on inside.
Most fitness gurus and major influencers follow the same regime .
Social media is not bad for teenage girls, it depends on the type of content and the effects that content has on the individual itself rather than negative or positive.
Breakup and heartbreak Instagram is overly dramatic and whiny.
Bonus : True crime /dark side Youtubers such as Cayleigh Elise, Rob Gavagan *Rob Dyke* ReignBotHorror , MrNightmare and MrCreepyPasta are few of the first of that genre on YouTube. Back then, these types of creators' focus were mainly on those subjects, it felt genuine. By that meaning it was sympathetic, nowadays with anyone and everyone doing true crime, the originality of it has been flushed. Now the feelings and attitudes that are being presented feel mainstream and sensationalized.
